Direi però prima di cominciare questa avventura nel mondo della pubblicità, accertati di avere una propria audience basata su un sistema SEO tradizionale, cioè almeno un sito sostenuto da una presenza storica con cui collegarsi e usare come doorway per tessere la propria rete di pesca, una triangolazione sarebbe ancora meglio per avere delle doorways e per essere considerati rilevanti dgli spiders dei motori di ricerca. Se non ce l’hai un sito del genere, faresti meglio a comprarlo oppure a crearlo con un nome di dominio separatamente. |

Il sottoscritto ha forse abusato in proprio di questo meccanismo e si vorrebbe anche alleggerire un pò … i.e.: vendere qualche Dominio (Storico) proprio.
Questo meccanismo funziona bene e normalmente lo raccomando a coloro che sono disposti a tassarsi di un secondo nome di dominio per iniziare pian piano a tessere la propria rete SEO. Comprare un sito STORICO ti costerebbe senz’altro almeno 1000 usd, ma tutto sommato una buona campagna iniziale con AdWords non ti costerebbe di meno e non ti offrirebbe una risorsa che dura nel tempo. |

Dalla mia installazione di Google Analytics ho rilevato che più della metà della mia audience di visitatori UNICI proviene da ROMA e Milano, tutti ansiosi di vedere che faccio, ma solo pochi hanno postato dei regolari backlink contestualmente all’invio di commenti a questo blog, gli altri sono piuttosto catturati da interazioni più attive e video documentate, piuttosto che malmenarsi il cervello e ritornare qui per scrivere e condividere una permanente cavolata di commento in questo blog. Altri ancora soffrono all’idea che inviare un commento qui potrebbe essere interpretato come una dichiarazione di inferiorità nei confronti dell’autore di questo blog, il quale comicia a sospettare di essere forse troppo sociale, certo è che non basta chiedere all’oste se il suo vino è buono e sentirsi dire che basta presentarsi ben vestiti per rivendere il suo vino intanto il vestito non te lo passa l’oste.

In the present URLs’ case (AdSense) my Visitors need to collect information from Google’s syndication server, Google ads server, Google+ etc, so that might be slowing a bit down the page downloads, but so far in my old XP sp3 laptop, these downloads are not too difficult.
Other common cases of slowing down surfing are the automatic pc-system updates especially antivirus.
In conclusion please check your system to be updated on request (…not silently) and keep an eye on your task manager.

I have noted recently many publishers are making a rather different usage of Advertising messages.
They intentionally fill intensively their pages to render downloading of targeted objects, such as music, software, various widgets, .pdf documents, etc very much hidden away by the page ads by Google or by other providers.
They would let their visitors skipping those by subscribing pay membership.
How about sharing some of these techniques?
I suppose you are a son of the last client side generation, otherwise you wouldn’t ask for sharing those techniques.
Those techniques are made of basic code to learn to use and that is already widely shared in my resources for free from several years.

I am currently running a dot-com domain which targets Indians, which shows adsense ads.
I would like to register a .us website to also target Indians, but I heard in some forums that .com is a better choice.
Geographically .us is US targeting extension, would that also be possible to use to target indian areas?
Would Google arise any problem in that case?

Google doesn’t make any difference between domain extensions.
As far as I know some world area have some restrictions due to some fake/commissioned clicks done in certain areas.
A few months ago my USA server was not answering certain Indian areas for http requests, they said for blacklisting, the same also happened for some italian users on shared connection.
The following blog could not be seen from many indian users:

… but that was due to their super security features continuously following the blaclist’s publishers recommendations.
Anyhow Google AdSense accounts are bound to Persons not to Domains.
I could place my AdSense code anywhere I want even on domains which are not mine.

Every Indian and others are asked by adsense to accept that they have Non US Activity and I accepted that; that’s why it should not be recommended to me to use .US extension.

I have a quite old AdSense account, it seems to me that you cannot anyhow apply for a .us account (according to your information). Having or not an US activity affects applying and creating such a domain account and not publishing or not Google ADS in such domains.
Having a domain it does not normally imply having a related activity in the country that its extension relates to, at least this is how that would be regarded in my country (Italy).
I think those are 2 separated things; besides that there are other matters i.e.: the tax aspects of a web related business and further requirements have to be evaluated for copyrights matters for music or video distribution.
